There is no one in this world who is perfect and there are no perfect parents. As I have said in one of my earlier blogs, I have been through some things with my children that I do not like to talk about very often and do not ever want to repeat. You cannot imagine what it is like to be a parent of a child in jail or the parent of a child who has been molested. These parents have children who are both and got through it the best that they could. Until you have been in their shoes you do not know what to do.
The public has been willing to forgive people celebrities who have made mistakes but not these good people who have done more good than most? As Jessa and Jill Duggar said in their interview, now they have to relive this stress in their lives because of the people who decided they wanted revenge or some kind of satisfaction by sending this information to the press. And Josh Duggar has lost his job and good reputation because of a mistake he made more than 10 years ago. He has clearly changed but has to relive this childhood incident.
I am only one person and don’t have the number of followers that can change the attitudes of the whole world, or even a majority, but I just wanted to get one opinion out there and make my support known to this family who did the best they could with what they had. They have my love and prayers and even if I don’t see them on TV anymore.
